Millboard® Durafix® Trimhead S/S Screw (Inc Driver Bit)(Box 250)

Our decking system is complemented by our unique Durafix screws. These hidden fixings make installing Millboard straightforward.

The Durafix fixings can be used in two ways: through the face of the boards, or through the side of the boards using the DuoFix Side-Fixing Guide. DuoFix provides a quick and easy fixing solution, leaving a clean, hidden fixing finish. When fixing through the face of the boards there’s no need to pre-drill, countersink or use clip fixings, simply fix the boards in accordance with our installation guide. Once the screws have been applied, the innovative Lastane coating on the board flexes back over the screw-heads, leaving a minimal witness mark.

Made from A2 stainless steel, the screws have a self-cutting tip, six-point torx head, and are waxed for ease of use. Each box of Durafix® fixings also includes a T15 hexshank drill bit. You will need around 22 fixings for each length of Millboard decking for residential applications and 26 fixings for commercial applications.

4.5x60mm – For installing Millboard decking onto timber or Plas-Pro subframes that have a thickness of 35mm or greater, through the side using the DuoFix guide or through face of the decking boards.

4.5x45mm – For installing Millboard decking onto DuoSpan or Plas-Pro subframes that have a thickness of 20mm or greater, through the side using the DuoFix guide or through face of the decking boards. These fixings should not be used to fix Millboard decking onto timber subframes.
